INTRODUCTION
------------
This bulletin board operates under a custom application environment called
'VU'. The interface and all modules are Copyright (c) 1989-95 by Tycho
Softworks, all rights reserved. VU is currently in beta under QNX/4,
Linux 1.2.0, Coherent 4.2.10, SCO 3.2, and UnixWare 2.0. If you are
interested in participating in the beta program, contact 'dyfett@aol.com'.

COMMON FEATURES
---------------

<CONTROL-W> or <F9> - Who is online

You may use CONTROL-W in most VU applications to find out who else
is currently logged into the system. You can send popup messages
and finger user information from the pick list of users.

<CONTROL-F> or <F8> - Finger userid

You may use CONTROL-F to retrieve public information about other
users of this system and whether they are currently logged in or not
assuming you know their user id.

<CONTROL-S> or <F7> - Send popup message

This feature allows you to send a popup message to another user. If
the user is in a VU application, your message will immediately popup
    on their screen.

<HELPKEY> or <F1> - Context sensitive help

The <F1> key is normally used to produce context sensitive help screens
within VU. Unfortunately, few of the beta modules have help available
    at this time.
